Terms of Service

These Terms of Service are the contract between you and TEACHERScone. By creating an account or using the website you accept them. If you use the service on behalf of a school, agency or company, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organisation.

If you do not agree, please do not create an account. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data and forms part of this agreement.

TEACHERScone gives you:

• a free account with an instructor profile, digital CV and a services list, so you appear in instructor search;
• a paid eLearning portal on your profile, with courses, lessons, templates, colour panels and a monthly allowance of AI generations;
• on the Professional plan, advertising campaigns for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and TikTok — drafted by our AI and launched by TEACHERScone.

We may add, change or retire features as the service grows. We will give notice where a change materially affects a feature you are paying for.

You must be 18 or over and legally able to enter a contract. Keep your password safe — you are responsible for everything that happens under your account. Give accurate information, especially about your identity, qualifications and rates.

One account per person or business. Tell us immediately at support@teacherscone.app if you believe someone else has used your account.

Signing up is free. eLearning portals and advertising require a paid plan. Plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe.

• At checkout you choose your country and currency. Where your local currency is supported, our payment provider converts the price and shows you the exact total before you confirm the payment.
• Your plan renews automatically each month until you cancel. Cancel from Manage billing; access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for.
• Prices may change. Existing subscribers get at least 30 days' notice of a price increase.
• Advertising spend is charged in addition to your plan fee, at the advertising platform's cost plus a 15% service fee.
• Partial-month refunds are not offered except where the law requires it or where we failed to provide the service you paid for.

You own everything you upload or create on TEACHERScone. By publishing it, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, store, display and share that content so the service can work — including showing your profile and portal to learners and employers, and keeping backup copies.

You confirm that you hold the rights to everything you upload and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights. You can delete content or unpublish your profile at any time; the licence ends once removal has taken effect, except for copies already lawfully made, such as cached pages and backups that expire on their own schedule.

AI drafts — lesson plans, course outlines, quiz banks and ad copy — are starting points, not finished products. You are responsible for reviewing, correcting and approving anything you publish or run.

AI output may be inaccurate, out of date or unsuitable for your learners, age group or jurisdiction. It is not teaching-accreditation, safeguarding, legal, medical or financial advice. You keep the rights you hold in your prompts and the resulting drafts, subject to third-party rights.

A campaign you submit is a request, not a guarantee. We draft and price it, then send it for payment and review.

• Campaigns can be delayed, rejected or restricted by the advertising platform for policy, creative, targeting or payment reasons. Platforms change those rules without notice to us.
• TEACHERScone is not the advertiser of record for your brand, and we cannot control how a platform reviews or displays your advert.
• We make no promise of reach, clicks, enquiries, leads or sales.
• Campaign fees are not refundable once a platform has delivered spend against your budget.
• You are responsible for the claims made about your services, for any professional registration, insurance or safeguarding checks your subject requires, and for complying with advertising rules in the countries you target.

You agree not to:

• impersonate a person, business or organisation;
• misstate your qualifications, memberships, prices or availability;
• publish illegal, hateful, harassing or sexually explicit material, or anything that endangers children;
• upload material you do not have the right to use;
• scrape, resell or mirror the service or its listings;
• interfere with security, plan limits or billing;
• use the AI tools to mass-produce spam;
• send unsolicited marketing to other users;
• use TEACHERScone to recruit learners off-platform in order to avoid fees.

We can remove content and restrict or close accounts that breach these rules, and we may report unlawful content to the appropriate authority.

TEACHERScone publishes information that instructors supply. We do not employ, supervise, background-check, insure or accredit instructors, and we do not verify qualifications unless we tell you otherwise.

Before hiring or enrolling, verify identity, references, qualifications, insurance and safeguarding checks yourself. Any agreement between an instructor and a learner or employer is between those parties, not with TEACHERScone.

The TEACHERScone name and logo, the interface, the templates and the colour panels belong to us or our licensors. You may use them as part of the service; you may not copy them, resell them, or use them to build a competing product.

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, is used fraudulently, or where we must for legal or security reasons.

Closing an account ends access to paid features from the date of closure. We will still honour any refund you are legally entitled to.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that your portal, advertising or AI drafts will produce any particular result. We are not responsible for the actions of instructors, learners, employers or advertising platforms.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data, or lost learners, enquiries or sales. Our total liability for anything arising out of these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited — including your statutory rights as a consumer.

We may update these terms. For material changes we will give at least 14 days' notice by email or an in-app notice. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept it.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales. This does not remove your consumer rights in the country where you live.
